Hi, I’m Samantha Blaustein.
Life is full of ups and downs, and navigating challenges on your own can be difficult. I take an encouraging, strengths-based, and collaborative approach to therapy, striving to help clients feel understood, accepted, and empowered. I believe that you are the expert on your own experiences and that the answers you seek already exist within you. My role is to support and guide you in discovering those answers while developing the tools needed to navigate life's challenges with confidence.
I have the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life stages, including teens, adults, older adults, and couples. While my practice is inclusive, I am particularly passionate about helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, motivation difficulties, PTSD, grief, and loss. I believe that with the right support, therapy can be a transformative experience.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in meeting clients where they are and focusing on the present moment. I view therapy as a safe and supportive space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we work to build work-life balance, clarify meaningful goals, strengthen communication, improve emotional regulation, and develop sustainable self-care practices that align with your values and responsibilities.
A central focus of my work is helping clients cultivate nervous system regulation, self-reliance, and the ability to self-soothe during times of distress. I integrate practical coping skills and evidence-based interventions that clients can continue using beyond the therapy room. My approach is primarily Humanistic and is enriched by principles from yoga therapy and Eastern healing traditions, offering a holistic perspective on emotional and psychological well-being.
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California and have trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities. I also hold a degree in International Yoga Therapy from Loyola Marymount University, which further informs my integrative approach to mental health and wellness.
My goal is for clients to leave therapy feeling grounded, empowered, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life's challenges long after our work together.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy cooking, hiking, adventuring with my dogs, and spending meaningful time with friends and family.
