Hi, I’m Janine Himes.

As a multiracial therapist, I understand the nuances of identity, belonging, and the layered experiences that shape how we move through the world. I believe healing begins when we feel truly seen, heard, and honored for who we are.

Life can bring both the expected and the unexpected, sometimes leaving us feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed. Therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and begin moving toward a more connected and meaningful life.

I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space grounded in a trauma-informed, holistic approach, honoring the whole person with compassion, curiosity, and deep respect for their journey. I work with adults, teens, children, couples, and parents navigating challenges like depression, anxiety, bullying, low self-esteem, grief, and life transitions. I draw from psychodynamic, somatic, and attachment-based therapy, while also integrating evidence-based practices such as CBT and DBT.

If you’re looking for a thoughtful and collaborative therapist to support you or your family, I invite you to reach out. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your path toward healing.
